Since I am anything but a wiz in the kitchen, you can bet that my chili recipe is really very simple. Here's all you need:

2 pounds of hamburger

1/2 large onion - diced

1 green bell pepper - diced

2 cans of Bush's Chili Beans - 1 black beans; 1 kidney beans

1 32 oz can of vegetable juice

Chili powder, pepper to taste

Brown your hamburger with the diced onion & bell pepper. In large pot with lid - a crockpot would work well too - Throw in the 2 cans of beans, the vegetable juice and your browned meat, onion, pepper mix. Stir it up over medium-hi heat. Toss in some chili powder and pepper to taste. Reduce to a simmer and leave it covered until you're ready to serve.

This really is one of the easiest things to make in the kitchen, especially for someone like me with minimal culinary skills. I do like to use vegetable juice in place of tomato juice as it gives the chili a much richer flavor and doesn't require the addition of tons of salt. Try it out and let me know what you think!
