I imagine that if you could lick Heaven, it would taste like this.

Sweets are one of my many Achilles Heel's. It doesn't matter how much I eat during a meal, or how miserably full I am, I will make room for one cookie, a piece of candy, or a three-scoop bowl of ice cream topped with a (un)healthy dose of chocolate syrup (I am a gluttonous pig).

If this sounds eerily similar to your life, then you must give this recipe a try. It's sweet, rich, creamy, crunchy, everything you need want to satisfy you and your family's sweet tooths — or in my case, teeth. And the best part is that it only takes a few ingredients. Speaking of which...

Ingredients

  • 2 - Family Size rolls of cookie dough
  • 2 - 8 ounce packages of cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup of sugar

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350°. Open one roll of cookie dough, and press it into the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 baking dish to form the base crust. Side note - I greased the dish with butter, because at this point if you're worried about calories, you're making the wrong dessert.

In a large bowl or electric mixer, blend together the cream cheese, egg, vanilla, lemon juice, and sugar until smooth. Spread mixture evenly on top of cookie crust. Slice the other roll of cookie dough and place on top (the dental floss life hack comes in handy here).

Pop it in the oven, and bake for 30 minutes, then try not to eat the whole thing in one sitting (good luck with that).
