Angel’s Blueberry Cheesecake Smoothie Tastes Just Like A Piece of Cheesecake (RECIPE)
How about a healthy recipe that doesn't taste like it? If you love blueberries or cheesecake or both you'll feel like you're cheating without the guilt!
Angel here and I love smoothies. They are quite possibly one of my new go-to meals. I had to learn how to make them so they also benefited me nutritionally with my healthy lifestyle of fasting.
I was in the kitchen one day and I was frantically searching for something to satisfy my poor little tummy. I had blueberries, almond milk, almond milk yogurt, and flaxseed.
I normally like to have strawberries instead of blueberries in my smoothie but thought this might be interesting. I threw all the ingredients into my blender and added ice and some chia seeds and HOLY MOLY it worked. I had stumbled accidentally upon the most delicious smoothie I had ever tasted.
I started walking around the house making my family try it. Even my husband, Joe, said "it tastes like I'm eating cheesecake." The kids loved it.
Now, I couldn't tell you all this and not share the recipe with you.
HEALTHY BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE SMOOTHIE
- 1 CUP OF ALMOND MILK
- 1/4 CUP OF SILK ALMOND MILK YOGURT
- HALF CUP OF BLUEBERRIES
- 2 TBSP OF FLAXSEED
- 1 TBSP CHIA SEEDS
- 1/4 CUP OF ICE
- SPLENDA/MUNK FRUIT SWEETENER TO TASTE
ADD ALL THE INGREDIENTS INTO A BLENDER OR NINJA. PLACE THE TOP ON AND SHAKE WELL. BLEND TO THE CONSISTENCY YOU WANT. ENJOY!
