Sometimes Pets Find Their Way Back to WHS Where they Are Welcomed with Open Arms

When the Warrick Humane Society adopts out a dog or cat, they expect for it to go home with its forever family. Unfortunately, sometimes that doesn't happen. Sometimes the pets find their way back to the WHS, and one of those "somebodies" was Tyrus.

Tyrus's Story

Tyrus was adopted from the WHS during the pandemic in 2020 when he was just a puppy. But earlier this year, Tyrus was found wandering as a very thin stray that was probably on his own for a while. So, he came back to WHS to try a second time at a forever family.

Tyrus is a five-year-old Plott hound mix. The staff at WHS says he adores kids and does great with other dogs too. He's a really good boy.
