Possible Snow and Extremely Cold Temps Forecasted in Southern Indiana & Western Kentucky this Weekend
Whether you are planning to stuff yourself or stuff your shopping cart this Thanksgiving, you should also start planning for snow - because we could see some in the Evansville - Owensboro area.
According to the National Weather Service, there's a chance of snow on Saturday.
Saturday Night: A 40 percent chance of snow before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Northwest wind 3 to 6 mph.An extended cold snap is forecast from late this week into early next week. We’re also monitoring the potential for light snow on Saturday. Right now, the accumulation potential looks light enough to likely not be impactful, but it’s something to keep an eye on, especially in the vicinity of I-64.
In another post, they said
A weather disturbance will bring a period of light snow to northern portions of the forecast area on Saturday. A light snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is possible, mainly near and north of I-64. Continue to monitor the latest forecast for updates.

An extended cold snap is forecast from late this week into early next week. This will be quite the shock after a very warm November so far. Monday looks like the coldest day, with morning lows in the teens and afternoon highs in the 30s
