Rap for Roots Winner Announced at Ceremony in Downtown Evansville [VIDEO]
The votes were cast, they were counted, and a winner in the annual Rap for Roots video contest with Keep Evansville Beautiful, Vectren, and 106-1 KISS-FM has been determined.
Over 2,000 votes were made with a whopping 82% cast in favor of the winner...Caleb Heiman of Evansville North High School! Here's the video that put $200 in Caleb's pocket (for reference, Caleb is "Big Red").
During today's ceremony which featured Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, Caleb accepted the award and immediately turned around and made it a donation to Keep Evansville Beautiful.
