Earn Cash for Your School, Church, or Non-Profit with Keep Evansville Beautiful’s ‘Cans for Cash’

We all know the importance of recycling, and to help you get in the routine of putting your empty soft drink or beer can in the recycling bin instead of the trash, Keep Evansville Beautiful is providing extra incentive with the opportunity to win up to $500 for your school, church, or non-profit with their Cans for Cash program.

To participate, simply save empty aluminum cans and take them to one of the participating Cash for Cans recyclers (listed below). You'll be paid immediately for all cans you drop off, and receive one ticket for every one pound of aluminum collected. Write the name of the school, church or organization that you are representing on the front of the ticket and your favorite school or charity on the backside (which I assume would be one in the same), and place it in the Challenge Box at the recycle center for the chance to win $500, $300 or $200 for your favorite organization! The winner will be announced on November 15th, a.k.a. America Recycles Day.
