I know it was cold yesterday, don't get me wrong, but I was NOT expecting what happened this morning to happen.  I got up at 4:00am and let my dogs out to potty.  The look on their faces matched mine, and it was shear puzzlement.

You could have cued up the "What's This" scene from The Nightmare Before Christmas, because there were "white things everywhere!"  When I was driving to work from 4:40 - 5:00am, the snow was also coming down very hard...  And Ron Rhodes didn't even warn me on Friday!

This is what WEHT/Eyewitness News Meteorologist Ron Rhodes had to say about the severe weather in the Tri-State:

"After our freezing start the temperature only warms into the low 40s for a high later today...  Temperature dropping down below freezing...  After a freezing start tomorrow morning, we'll see plenty of sunshine and a high temperature of around 60 degrees later on tomorrow afternoon."
