Looking for Love? Evansville Thunderbolts to Host a Special Singles Night

This past week, my husband and I went in to get our passports for an upcoming wedding we’ll be attending outside of the country. As part of my application, I had to fill in the date of our wedding. Honestly, it took me a minute to remember the actual date! I know, I know... you'd think after all this time, I’d have it memorized!

Now, as someone who has been married for almost half my life, it’s honestly a bit terrifying to listen to my single friends talk about dating. The horror stories they share are one thing, but even more than that, I wouldn’t even know where to begin if I had to start over! How do you MEET PEOPLE?

Single and Ready to Get Out There and Talk to Other Single People in an Awkward but Endearing Way Because You Don't Want to Be Single Anymore?

If you’re single and open to meeting someone new but also trying to avoid being the third wheel this Valentine's Day, the Evansville Thunderbolts are stepping up to the plate. Wait... that's baseball! I know, I know, I just couldn't resist a good pun! I tried googling hockey lingo but nothing slapped for me.

Swipe Right Night with the Evansville Thunderbolts

Anyway, the Evansville Thunderbolts are hosting Swipe Right Night on February 14th. They'll be holding speed dating in the suite club before the game starts and will offer a special singles section for singles to mix and mingle. And, if you are a REALLY good sport, you can participate in a round of blind dating with the chance to win the perfect date night during the first intermission.

IMPORTANT:

• A ticket to the game must be purchased to participate in speed dating. Tickets for Swipe Right Night start at $14 if purchased at the Ford Center Ticket Office by asking for the Gen Z deal!
• Speed dating is open to participants aged 21-29.
• The event is capped at 40 participants.

Of course, couples and families are still more than welcome to join in the fun and witness new connections being made right there in realtime.
