Meet Junie B, the Outspoken Kitty Who Stole Hearts at ITV Rescue

When my daughter was little, we’d sit in bed before lights out and read books together. I wore my library card out with that one. So, when my sister-in-law bought her the entire Junie B. Jones collection, I was grateful to not have to make a trip to town every few days for a new stack of books.

If you haven’t read Junie B. Jones, the series follows a very opinionated first grader who’s a little wild, a little scatterbrained, and completely outspoken. My daughter loved her because she saw a bit of herself in Junie B., a little wild, a little messy, and full of personality.

And that’s exactly why the team at It Takes a Village Animal Rescue in Evansville named their newest adoptable cat after her. Meet Junie B., a delightful domestic medium-hair beauty with a big personality to match her name.

About Junie B.

Junie B. is a petite two-year-old kitty who’s curious about dogs, so the staff thinks she’d do well in a home with a calm pup. She’s spunky, playful, and loves to be held. The staff says she’s also very outspoken. You’ll often hear her trilling, meowing, and purring her opinions.

She’d be perfect for just about any home without other cats.

All ITV cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and heartworm tested and treated if needed.
