Sorry Indiana Shoppers, You Won’t Find These Food Items Anywhere in 2024
The new year is supposed to bring with it hope for things to come - a fresh start and a positive outlook for the next 12 months. For many companies, a fresh start means taking a look at what did and did not work in 2023 and figuring out what changes to make in 2024. While we will certainly see some new products this year, there are also several items that you won't be able to find on store shelves.
Discontinued Drinks & Snacks in 2024
"It's nothing personal, it's just business." That's what I imagine shot callers at companies around the country would say to these products (you know, if they weren't inanimate objects) that will no longer be available in 2024.
Raspberry Rally Girl Scout Cookies
I guess it was "one and done" for this new Girl Scout Cookie flavor. I love raspberries and I loved these cookies, too. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I'm sure the Girl Scouts will replace it with another equally delicious choice.
Jalapeno and Honey Mustard Pringles
I'm old school when it comes to Pringles, give me the originals or the cheddar cheese - you can keep all the other "exotic" flavors. I feel like Pringles has come up with just about every flavor under the sun, so you can't expect every one of them to be a hit, right?
Dunkin Donuts Dunkaccino
Even Al Pacino couldn't save the Dunkaccino, although it seems like a match made in Heaven. For the record, the commercial below is NOT real. Yes, that really is Al Pacino rapping, but the faux ad is from the 2011 Adam Sandler flop Jack & Jill. As for the drink (in real life), Dunkin says it may make a return sometime in the future.
Maple Cheerios
This one kind of bums me out. Not because it's my favorite cereal, but because I never had a chance to try it - I didn't even know it existed until I started writing this article. I guess when you're at the top of the cereal food chain, you can afford to have a few swings and misses.
Trader Joe's Minty Mallows
There are two reasons that this news doesn't upset me one single bit. I've never been to Trader Joe's, and I don't like marshmallows. Nuff said.
