Selling to Serve More of Our Community

The decision to sell this 105-acre property was not an easy one for the Evansville Rescue Mission. Looking at the bigger picture, this will all the ERM to serve more of our homeless in the Evansville area.

Tracy Gorman President / CEO shared his sentiments on social media:

Today is the last day of Summer Day Camp at your ERM’s Camp Reveal. It has been a terrific summer for our campers and for our incredible team. We appreciate the hard work of that crew!!! As well, after 96 years, we also will now cease operations at Camp Reveal, for the reasons we have previously announced. It is a beautiful, incredible place that holds many special memories for so many people - including me! It’s been a place of solace and serenity on more occasions over the past 16 years than I could possibly recall. Just like so many of you, I will miss it! We will host a very special “THANK YOU, CAMP REVEAL” come-and-go reception on August 22nd. I hope you can join us between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.
