This July animal rescues are working to "Empty the Shelters" with $50 dog and cat adoption fees.
Empty the Shelters
The BISSELL Pet Foundation helps shelters across the United States with adoption events that they host quarterly. In fact, to date, their Empty the Shelters adoption event has helped nearly 158,000 pets get adopted. This year the BISSELL Pet Foundation teamed up with over 335 shelters across 44 states to host another Empty the Shelter Event from July 6th through 31st. This event hosts $50 adoption fees on cats and dogs.

$50 Pet Adoptions
It's important to remember that $50 is an incredible price for a dog or cat. When you adopt from a shelter like the Vanderburgh Humane Society that animal will come to you fully vetted, up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. This event will take place from July 6th through the 31st and the $50 adoption fee is for dogs and cats ages 6 months and up.
If you'd like to learn more about the event and see all of the shelters participating, you can find all of the information you need through the BISSELL Pet Foundation's website.
