As we approach the sad anniversary of 2Pac getting shot in Las Vegas on Sept. 7 and then his subsequent death on Sept. 13, a new documentary is claiming that the late rapper might have known his killer.

TMZ posted the first clip from Oxygen’s Snapped Notorious docu-series which will examine the mysterious death of Tupac Shakur. The 2-hour episode will feature in-depth interviews with people who knew ‘Pac like Yo-Yo, Danny Boy, Charlie Baltimore, the rapper’s first manager Leila Steinberg and many others. It also looks like the series will explore 2Pac and Biggie's friendship prior to their coastal feud.

TMZ seems to suggest that the documentary would reenact 2Pac on his deathbed in a Las Vegas hospital and nodding that he knew who shot him but we don't know if that's true or not.

Oxygen isn't the only network airing 2Pac and Biggie documentaries. The A&E network is planning to premiere two docu-series about the beloved rappers. First up is Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G., which premieres on Sept. 4, followed by the six-part docu-series, Who Killed Tupac later in the fall. Both projects are part of the A&E’s recently relaunched “Biography” banner.

Also, the 2Pac biopic, All Eyez on Me, is currently available on DVD, Blue-Ray, digital and On Demand services.

In the meantime, Oxygen's Snapped Notorious: Tupac Shakur will air on Sept. 10 at 6PM ET. Watch the trailer above.
