Evansville’s Tri-State Equine & Pet Supply Expanding to Two Kentucky Locations

A Go-To Stop for Tri-State Horse & Pet Owners

If you live in the tri-state area and own a horse, there is a very good chance you have visited Tri-State Equine and Pet Supply. We have two horses, and I am there at least once a week!

We get our feed, bedding, tack, medications, and even equine clothing and boots at Tri State. I also buy all of my dog and cat food there. Using their loyalty program, Tri-State is by far the most affordable for the Diamond products we buy. And, the drive-thru makes it incredibly easy to grab everything I need and have it loaded right into my car.

Big News for Kentucky Horse Owners

Thankfully, Tri State is right on the way to the barn where we board, and they even deliver our feed and bedding. For those who do not live near Evansville’s east side, getting there can be a bit of a haul.

That is about to change. Tri-State Equine and Pet Supply announced this past week that they are expanding with new locations coming to Henderson and Florence, Kentucky.

We're proud to announce that as of January 1st, Tristate Equine and Pet Supply has purchased Shorty’s Tack Shop located in Henderson, KY on the grounds of Ellis Park Racing and Gaming. We are also excited to announce the purchase of Sal’s Turf Supply in Florence, KY on the grounds of Turfway Park Racing and Gaming. We will operate as Tristate Equine and Pet Supply offering the current products these locations provide to the racehorse trainers, in addition to adding feed, bedding and hay to the items they can purchase.

This is an exciting move for us, and we look forward to serving the racing industry even more than we do already. This is a strong and growing industry, and we want to be an active participant in the future growth. We are a growing company as well and look to further our growth even more through this and future acquisitions!

New Hours

In addition to expansion, Tri-State is also offering new hours. You can visit them weekdays from 9 AM - 6 PM and Saturdays from 9 AM- 4 PM. They are still closed on Sundays. Visit them on Facebook for the latest updates.
