Taylor Swift paused her Reputation Tour, in Detroit.

The singer paused her tour at Ford Field in Detroit, Tuesday night, to honor the late Aretha Franklin. According to E! the singer had a few words to say before holding a moment of silence, ""She did so much for music. She did so much for women's rights. She did so much for civil rights. She was one of those people, where no matter what you said, no matter what glowing, positive thing you said about her, it would be an understatement. Words could never ever describe how many things she did in her lifetime that made our world a better place. And this is for her."

The iconic Aretha Franklin passed away on August 16, 2018 after a battle with pancreatic cancer, at the age of 76. She was surrounded by family and friends at her home in Detroit.
