If you've ever vacationed in the Smoky Mountains or traveled around Atlanta or Daytona Beach, chances are you've seen the wonder that is Tanger Outlets. If you were curious enough, maybe you even drove through and like me, were astounded by just how vast the options were for shopping and dining. It's almost an experience unto itself to see it up close. That unique experience will be a little closer to us this fall, as Nashville will soon be home to its own Tanger Outlet Shopping Center, as the open-air outlet is set to open on October 27th and with it “100s of brands”. This news was first announced in 2019 and ground was broken on the 300-acre site in 2022.

Tanger Outlets Factory Center currently owns over 30 shopping centers in the United States and Canada and comprises well-known brands such as Nike, Adidas, Banana Republic Factory, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, Vera Bradley, Sperry, Gap Outlet, Kate Spade, and many others.

From the 2022 press release, Tanger Outlet CEO Stephen Yalof had this to say about expanding the Tanger Outlet brand into the Nashville area: "We build our centers with future generations in mind, and Tanger Outlets Nashville will serve as an experience hub, immersing guests in all that Tanger represents – from best-in-class brands to partnerships with local causes, to celebrating community and culture in an inviting environment. The center will also be steeped in Nashville flavor, with special attention to iconic entertainment and local dining favorites."

Along with numerous shopping centers, visitors can expect dining opportunities and entertainment options specific to the Nashville culture that will definitely keep visitors busy for hours on end.
