Snoop Dogg changed his name to Snoop Lion and it never really caught on. Come on, how many times did you go, "Snoop Do - wait, I mean Snoop Lion?" It didn't matter that much, since most people refer to the rapper as "Snoop" anyway.
In one of the coolest and creepiest performances I've seen, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre were joined on stage during the closing set of this past weekend's Coachella Music Festival by a hologram version of the late Tupac Shakur. It's a video you have to see to believe and even then you still may not believe it.
For over 20 years, Snoop Dogg's lyrics have covered everything from life in the hood and gang violence, as well as the lighter side including partying and occasionally (ok, frequently) enjoying a puff of illegal narcotics. His most loyal fans have taken his lyrics to heart and now, they can take them to their lungs.

While traveling on his tour bus outside of El Paso, Texas (in Sierra Blanca), Snoop's tour bus was pulled over at a checkpoint. Drug-sniffing dogs found a few marijuana cigarettes which Snoop Dogg claimed were his.
