Formerly Snoop Doggy Dogg, formerly Big Snoop Dogg...

Earlier this year, original gangsta Snoop Dogg announced he was abandoning the alias he had been using for years.  Snoop started his career as the Dogfather in the early 90s known as Snoop Doggy Dogg.  Shortly there after, the D-O-Double-Gizzle dropped the "Doggy" from his name and went by Snoop Dogg.  In the mid 2000s, Snoop tried to change his name again, this time to Big Snoop Dogg which is actually his featured title on the Pussycat Dolls track, "Buttons."  Earlier in 2012, Snoop actually completely adandoned the animal name that once defined him, and switched his "Dogg" to a "Lion" to coincide with a musical rebirth as a reggae artist.  Further, he has just released his first official music video under the Snoop Lion moniker.  Check out "La La La!"
