Sushi Review: Sakura Japanese Restaurant in Newburgh Indiana

Kat and Shawn tried the new sushi restaurant in Newburgh, Sakura.

The first impression of the restaurant was really positive. Everything from the flooring to the wall color were on point. The service was excellent as well.

The "Clear Soup" was what I assume to be their version of what most places call their Hibachi Soup. It has a subtle bacon flavor and the mushrooms and onion in it appeared to have been sauteed.

When it came to the sushi, while it was good, there wasn't anything particularly earth shattering to set it apart from other sushi in the area.

All and all, it was a pleasant experience and I'd go back.
