New York Criminals Use Tactics from ‘The Town’ for Burglaries

If you've never seen The Town starring Ben Affleck and my apparent twin, Jeremy Renner, for starters, you're missing out on a pretty good flick. Your also apparently missing out on a way to get ideas for pulling off your own heist.

The Associated Press reports that police in New York have arrested four men suspected stealing $217,00 over the course of 62 robberies at delis, pizzerias, and discount stores in the Brooklyn and Queens areas of New York City.

A NYPD spokesperson told the Associated Press that  several of the suspects have admitted to using tactics from the movie including pouring bleach over the registers and anything else they may have touched in an effort to destroy any DNA evidence left behind.
