National Look-A-Like Day a Friendly Reminder Ryan O’Bryan Looks Like Jeremy Renner [PHOTOS]

April 20th is apparently National Look-A-Like Day, which provides me the opportunity to let everyone know, "yes, people have told me I look like that guy from The Avengers."

I've told this story before, but for the uninitiated, I was told by a co-worker years ago that Renner and I could be twins after he watched the movie, S.W.A.T. one weekend. At that time I had never heard of Jeremy Renner, so my response was something along the lines of, "Really? I'll have to check that out." (SPOILER: I never did.)

As we all know, Renner found himself appearing in bigger films after his breakout performance in the Oscar-winning movie, The Hurt Locker. From that he became, and always will be whether he likes it or not, Hawkeye, the bow and arrow wielding sharp-shooter from the massively popular Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The wide-ranging appeal of those films have increased his recognizability, and the amount of times I get asked, "Did anyone tell you that you look like that guy from The Avengers?"

I've had grocery store cashiers do a double-take when I roll my cart up to their register and ask. Most recently, a woman with the ring girls at Guns and Hoses 9 stopped me at ring side before the show was set to start and asked if I anyone had ever told me.

I don't mind people asking. I see the resemblance depending on the camera angle, and I usually respond with a polite, "Yeah, I get that a lot." In the grand scheme of things, it could be worse. I could get, "Did anyone ever tell you that you look like Steve Buscemi?"

While I get the question frequently, some people, like one of my best friends, doesn't see any resemblance whatsoever. So I grabbed a few pictures of Mr. Renner, and tried to recreate his pose in each the best I could to let you decide for yourself if he and I could switch places like a modern-day version of Freaky Friday.
