New WATERWORKS ROAD Approved To Be Built!

More roadway construction has been approved by the City Council in coordination with the Water and Sewer department. A new Waterworks Road is scheduled to be built to that will make it easier to avoid floodwaters from the river.

The City wants to begin construction on the new Waterworks Road immediately to work in concert with the new 3-way intersection that is currently being built near Highway 41 and Veterans Memorial Parkway.

The current Waterworks Road will stay open (flood waters permitting) until the new road is completed. We will keep you updated on any road closures due to construction as they happen.
