My Favorite Movie Sequel

This morning, the girls and I were talking about film's most successful movie sequels.  It had to do with movies in which their sequels made a great deal more money than the original.  We got to talking about some of Hollywood's better sequels, but I never shared my ultimate favorite.

Well, now is the time!  And while I don't know what the box-office receipts look like, I can tell you that, while I love ALL of the movies in this franchise, I feel like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is probably my favorite "#2" movie.  I LOVE Raiders of the Lost Arc...  But Temple of Doom stepped it up incredibly, and I thought it was such a great sequel.  The series continued to get better with the third installment Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, but fell off a little with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
