There were a lot of high-profile trailers released this week, here they are!

Alien: Covenant

After the misstep that was Prometheus, Ridley Scott returns once again for the next entry in the Alien franchise. Covenant looks to bridge the gap between Prometheus and the original Alien.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Said to be the last movie in the series, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is the fifth entry in the franchise. Johnny Depp is back again to portray Jack Sparrow (because I'm sure they offered him all the money). The last film was released in 2011 and was pretty terrible. Hopefully, this one is able to capture the fun of the original films.

Guardians of the Galaxy VOL. 2

The big trailer release for me (and pretty much everyone else), was the final trailer for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy VOL. 2. The original film was my favorite movie of 2014 and really caught everyone off-guard with how fun it was (and it launched Chris Pratt into the Hollywood elite). This new film looks to capitalize on the fun of the original. Oh, and Baby Groot is life!
