It feels like several years have passed since Christopher Nolan released ‘Interstellar,’ but that’s just because I’m still stuck on that tidal-wave planet where time dilates and stuff. In reality, it’s only been a couple months since Nolan’s latest epic sci-fi film, which opened to positive reviews and, despite its heady subject matter, went on to earn more than $660 million worldwide. Love it or hate it, you have to at least respect the fact that Nolan’s still making huge blockbusters based on original ideas and deeply personal subject matter—as opposed to board games or toys or something.

‘Interstellar’ is actually still playing in about 700 theaters around the country, but Paramount is already reading the film’s Blu-ray and DVD release. The DVD is basically bare bones plus a Digital HD copy of the film. The Blu-ray, though, is a three-disc behemoth. The Blu-ray Combo Pack will also include an authentic film cell from an original 70MM IMAX print of the film.  Here’s the full list of extras:

The Blu-ray and DVD of ‘Interstellar’ will be available on March 31, 2015. If you can’t wait that long, it will be available in Digital HD for online download two weeks earlier—or, if my math is correct, about four hours earlier on the tidal-wave planet.
