Indiana and Kentucky State Police Hosting Drug Take Back This Saturday
In an effort to help curb teen prescription drug abuse, both the Indiana and Kentucky State Police Departments are partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency to host a Drug Take Back Day this Saturday to give residents the opportunity to dispose of any unneeded, or old prescription drugs properly.
Residents in Indiana can drop off their unwanted pills at the following locations:
- Indiana State Police Post - 19411 US-41 North
- CVS - 7722 State St, Newburgh
- National Guard Armory - 3000 E Division St.
Residents in Kentucky can drop off their medication at the following location:
- Kentucky State Police Post - 8298 Keach Dr., Henderson
Representatives from both Departments as well the Warrick County Sheriff's Department and the Drug Enforcement Agency will be on hand from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. accepting medications, and will only accept medicine in pill form. Liquids and syringes will not be accepted at any of the drop off locations.
