Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site

Located in Indianapolis is the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site.  This site is home to the mansion that once housed President Benjamin Harrison.  In 1874 before he became President, Benjamin Harrison and his wife began construction on the house they would eventually call home.  The house is described as a 16-room Italianate style house.  It has a brick drive and a carriage house on the property as well.

From 1889-1893 President Benjamin Harrison and his wife lived in the white house, and unfortunately, President Harrison would return to his Indiana home alone as a widower.  He later remarried and had a daughter who was born in 1897. Unfortunately, President Harrison wouldn't live to see his daughter grow up, as he passed away inside of his Indiana home on March 13th, 1901.

Here is what BHPsite.org has to say about the Haunted United States of America:

Indianapolis is the Crossroads of America. This is also true for the spirits on the other side of the veil. For them, Indianapolis is a key location where spectral lines of energy overlap making it a central location on the haunted superhighway that runs the gamut of the afterlife. Ghosts have come from all corners of the United States to haunt the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site – from Boston to New Orleans, from the shores of the Pacific Ocean and back again to Indianapolis. No part of the country has been left bereft of their ghosts who think Indy is the place to be at Halloween. Come test your nerve as you walk among these spirits of the United States.

The event will take place on October 14, 15, 22, 28, and 29th at different times.  To reserve your tickets, and check out all dates and times click here.

Hauntingly Beautiful Photoshoot Inspired by Evansville's Grey Lady

Evansville's most notorious ghost is no doubt the Grey Lady. The Grey Lady is said to roam the halls of Willard Library, and stir up a little mischief every now and then. Hayden Burns Photography was so inspired by the Grey Lady, that she created a photoshoot completely inspired by her. Check out her stunning ghostly images below!
