Gavin’s Favorite Cosplays from Indiana Comic Con!
Some of these are just amazing.
Cosplay is a big part of any comic convention and Indiana Comic Con was no exception. When I wasn't cosplaying with my co-worker (and occasional friend) Chynna as Constantine and Zatanna (and later as Tina and Louise), we were admiring the work of others
Here are some of my cosplays from Indiana Comic Con 2018
Muriel from Courage the Cowardly Dog
I love when people do cosplays of animated shows from my childhood. This is a fun cosplay that everyone might not understand, but if you do, you appreciate it.
Georgie from IT
Not a particularly difficult cosplay to pull off, but I love the little touches such as HAVING AN ARM MISSING. I do wonder where his arm went though...
Pennywise from IT
Found the arm! I saw a couple Pennywise cosplays at Indiana Comic Con, but this one was the definite winner for me.
Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail
It wouldn't be Easter weekend without at least one appearance of a rabbit.
Szechuan Sauce from Rick and Morty
Remember when all the Rick and Morty fans acted a fool whenever they tried releasing the sauce back in October? Luckily, this girl wasn't mauled by terrible Rick and Morty fans.
Mary Poppins Yondu mashup from Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2
He was Mary Poppins, y'all.
Red Ranger and Billy Mashup from Power Rangers/Stranger Things
The same actor played the new Red Ranger in the Power Rangers re-boot and Billy in Stranger Things season 2. If your goal in life was to see a Power Ranger with a mullet (Jason David Frank doesn't count), this mashup cosplay just made all of your dreams come true.
Justice League of Their Own Mashup from A League of Their Own and Justice League
I love mashup cosplays and I love puns. This cosplay met both of my criteria for being awesome.
Tina, Louise, and Jimmie Jr from Bob's Burgers
It was nice to get reunited with a Bob's Burgers family. And I couldn't stop thinking about Jimmie Jr's butt for days.
Dumbledore from Harry Potter Puppet Pals
This cosplay won the weekend for me. How can you not love an adorable life-size version of a puppet Dumbledore?
