Friday After Five in Owensboro Kicks Off 2023 Season With Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band!

It is going to be an incredible night kicking off everyone's favorite FREE Summer event, Friday After Five! It's the 27th season and better than ever.  Celebrating 'City Night;' Mayor Watson and Councilwoman Pam Smith-Wright will be honoring the late Larry Maglinger on the Jagoe Homes Main stage at the Holiday Inn Riverfront.

Get ready to spend the evening "Dancing in the Dark" on a brand new dance floor thanks to Best Insured by Elizabeth! Starting at 6PM, The Boss Project will make it impossible for you to stay in your seat.

Featured Jeeps from the Jeeps and Jams Expo and Jerry Ray Davis will be hanging at the Atmos Amphitheater so be sure to check those out and ask someone about their rubber duckies!

Plan to have dinner from 5:30 PM- 9 PM at the Kroger Street Fair which has more food trucks and vendors than ever!

As you move along downtown, you can enjoy other amazing music by Happiness Jones at The Romain Suburu Overlook Stage and Lillie Mae at The Lure Stage. They are both SO MUCH FUN and a great way to kick off the summer. Lillie Mae's harmonies will have us all covered in goosebumps!

You'll want to hop back over to the Jagoe Homes stage at 7:30PM for the special toast to the Sunset, more Boss Project and enjoy the talk of the town, the incredible Magic in the Sky Drone Show! 300 Drones flying in formation to create a hypnotizing performance you won't want to miss!

Closing out the evening is Sugar Lime Blue from 8:45-11:30PM at the Ruoff Party Stage at the Convention Center and they will make staying up past your bed time absolutely worth it!
