A "Friday Night Lights" Initiative for Local Schools

The tour celebrates Green's fourth studio album, That's Just Me, which has earned praise from The New York Times and Billboard. There's a feel-good twist to the tour, too. Green played high school football and was a quarterback at Jacksonville State before his music career took off, so he's teaming up with local schools on a "Friday Night Lights" initiative. Students are putting their own spin on his music with band performances, pep rallies, banners, and artwork. Green is donating $1 from every ticket sold to each participating school, and the other $2 goes to the Buford Bonds Charitable Fund.
