Blackford Creek and Drew Aud Headline Friday After 5 This Week

It's Week #4 of Friday After 5's 25th Anniversary Season in downtown Owensboro. There has been a bunch of rain this week, but, it looks like things are going to clear up just in time for an amazing night of live music in downtown Owensboro.

It's Week #4 of Friday After 5 in downtown Owensboro. Here's a list of the folks who are taking the stage tonight, where they'll be performing and when!

This morning here on WBKR, Friday After 5 Executive Director Fran Marseille joined me and Angel to chat about the excitement over tonight's lineup. Here's what she had to say.

And I want to remind you that we are currently accepting registrations for our second round of auditions for WBKR's Friday Night Fight. We've teamed up with Friday After 5 and the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center for a fun talent contest. The grand prize winner is going to snag $1000 and the right to headline the Ruoff Party Stage on the final night of Friday After 5's 25th Anniversary season.

At our first audition, these two incredibly talent local artists advanced to our finale event!

EV Mae/TJ Aaron

EV Mae of Owensboro and TJ Aaron of Muhlenberg County are our first qualifiers for the WBKR Friday Night Finale. On May 28th, they auditioned on the Jagoe Homes Patio Stage (against a dozen other hopefuls) and qualified for the August 6th finals.

The second Friday Night Fight audition is set for Friday, June 18th. That's just a week away and registrations are open NOW. If you (or someone you know) wants to compete for the chance to play at Friday After 5, fill out the form below.
