Free Mulch Available for Tri-State Residents
Getting Ready for Spring?
Getting ready to spruce up your home or business for spring? If you live in the tri-state, you can get free mulch!
Cleanup from Storm Debris
This past winter was kinda brutal. Mother Nature slammed the tri-state with ice, snow, and freezing temps. Road crews worked hard to clear everything, but the storm left a huge mess. Fallen trees and limbs were everywhere, and thousands lost power for days. It was a rough time for a lot of people.
But here’s the upside. All those branches and limbs that got dropped off earlier this year have been turned into mulch, and now it’s free for anyone who wants it. If you need some for your yard or garden, now’s the perfect time to grab it.

As you may know, our facility has been working diligently to manage the aftermath of the storms, and as a result, we currently have an abundance of mulch that needs to be moved off our property. In light of this situation, we are pleased to announce that mulch will be available free of charge to all residents, non-residents, and businesses until further notice. -Warrick County Recycling And Resource Management
How to Claim Yours?
According to a press release from Warrick County Solid Waste, residents, non-residents, and businesses can visit Warrick County Recycling And Resource Management at 1111 South Pelzer Road, Boonville, IN to claim their free mulch while supplies last.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to enhance their gardens, landscaping, or outdoor spaces while also helping us manage the storm debris disposal needs at our facility, which is nearing capacity. We encourage you to take advantage of this offer and help us clear out the excess mulch.
The staff will be available to help if you’re picking up a large amount of mulch but if you only need a small load you’ll need to bring your own equipment and handle it yourself.
