From The Mickey Mouse Club in '93 all the way to today, Britney Spears and her former employer, Mr. Mickey Mouse, have enjoyed a long, amicable relationship.

And, in the latest instance of Disney showing love for the "Don't Go Knockin' On My Door" pop icon, the upcoming 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards will honor the Princess of Pop™ with the very first-ever Icon Award.

Radio Disney made the announcement today (Apr. 5) on Twitter: "#RDMA Buzz: @britneyspears will be presented with the first-ever Icon Award at this year's RDMA!"

The announcement simultaneously confirms that Brit Brit will be in attendance at this year's ceremony, which is being held on April 29 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and will air on the Disney Channel on April 30.

The show will also include performances from a ton of up-and-coming pop princesses following in the footsteps of the Holy Spearit herself, including Sabrina Carpenter, Noah Cyrus, Bridgit Mendler and Julia Michaels, the same singer-songwriter who just happened to co-write a bunch of tracks off of Britney's latest studio album, Glory.

Congratulations, Britney!

But for the fans watching at home, the true award will be the inevitable Britney reaction shots from the audience.
