Angel Wants To Know: What Good Books You’re Reading This Summer?
Angel here and inquiring minds want to know...What good books are you reading this summer? Let's call it WHATCHA READING WEDNESDAY.
MY READING IS HIT OR MISS
I have to be completely transparent with you all and say I don't get to do a whole bunch of reading on a daily basis. I read my bible as soon as I get up in the morning before the world gets up and then I start my day. I usually begin reading like five books at a time and never get to fully finish any of them. I will take a book to the pool in the summer and the kids interrupt or I start one on the vacation drive and fall asleep never to pick it back up again. I have to do better at finishing the ones I start.
WHAT I LIKE TO READ OR HAVE READ (LIST)
I love a variety of subjects when reading. It doesn't much matter to me if it is fiction or non-fiction. I have found over the past few years I do read more books by female authors. I love Christian inspirational books and anything with humor. My favorite authors are Mitch Albom and Sophie Kinsella.
Here's a list of my top 10 favorite books:
- The Bible (of course!)
- Tuesdays with Morrie-Mitch Albom
- The Five People You Meet in Heaven-Mitch Albom
- Confessions of a Shopaholic-Sophie Kinsella
- Can You Keep A Secret?-Sophie Kinsella
- Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons-Lorna Landvik
- The Esther Anointing-Michelle-McClain Walters
- The Shack-William P. Young
- The Circle Maker: Praying Circles Around Your Biggest Dreams-Mark Batterson
- Brave: Honest Questions Women Ask-Angela Thomas
