Nearly 500 swimmers, ages 4 to 65+ will compete in the 2018 Evansville City Swim Meet, being held on July 14th and 15th at Garvin Park Pool.

Preliminaries will be held on Saturday the 14th, starting at 9am. Those who advance to the finals will return to compete on Sunday the 15th at 9am. It'd be great to see Garvin Park Pool packed with spectators and supporters!

It takes a lot of manpower to make an event this big happen. And for that reason, all neighborhood pools, except for Rochelle-Landers, will be closed on those days to allow staff to assist with the meet.

Rochelle-Landers Pool (701 Lincoln Ave.) will be open regular business hours, from 11am-5pm on July 14, and from 12n-5pm on July 15.  Hartke Pool (201 N. Boeke Rd.) will also be open regular business hours, from 11am-8pm on July 14, and from 12n-5pm on July 15.

In addition, Lloyd Pool (6101 N. First Ave.) will be open regular business hours from 12n-8pm on July 14, and from 12n-5pm  on July 15.
