St. Patrick's Day falls on a Tuesday this year, and while a lot of us will still be out celebrating St. Patty's day on the actual day, it's understandable that a lot of us are also going to be celebrating good ole St. Patty's day this weekend, because going to work hungover on a Wednesday doesn't exactly sound like a blast.  I've got you covered this weekend with 10 drink recipes to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! After all St. Patrick's day is a day to celebrate....St. Patrick!

Brief history lesson:

So I know St. Patrick is the patron Saint of Ireland, but I never really knew why we had a day for him, so I took to good ole wikipedia, who said:

Saint Patrick's Day was made an official feast day in the early seventeenth century. For Christians, the day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. However, it has gradually become more of a secular celebration of Irishness and Irish Culture. The day generally involves public parades and festivals,ceilithe and wearing of green attire or shamrocks. Christians also attend church services and the Lenten restrictions on eating and drinking alcohol are lifted for the day.
