Christmas in the Campground

If you're looking for a fun Christmas tradition, this may be exactly what you're looking for! Each year Spring Mill State Park hosts Christmas in the Campground.  What's cool about this event is you can get the campsite for free, BUT you must show off your holiday cheer.  In order to enjoy the free campsite, you have to decorate it for the holidays.

Spring Mill State Park shared a post from the Friends of Spring Mill State Park Facebook page stating that sign-ups were officially open for Christmas in the park:

I am now opening sign ups for Christmas in the Campground. This will be on December 2nd and 3rd. You get the campsite for free but you have to decorate for Christmas. I will be touching base with the ones that came last year to see if they want to come again this year and we have space for new ones. We ask that if you want a spot to please commit. This is in December it will be cold and we never know what the weather will be. It was a lot of fun last year and we would love to have every spot filled and decorated this year. You can message me or text/call me 812-276-6235. If I don’t answer leave me a message or text me. I don’t always have signal depending on where I am.

What a fun way to celebrate the holidays! Plus it would be so cool to see the campground all lit up!
