WATCH Historic Groundbreaking Ceremony for Mickey’s Kingdom

Yesterday afternoon on Riverside Drive here in Downtown Evansville, history was made when a group of dozens of children collectively dug their shovels into the dirt at the site that in just a few short months will become the playground known as Mickey's Kingdom!

The ceremony began with a speech from the Mayor of Evansville, Lloyd Winnecke, as well as representatives from the Evansville Police Department like Chief of Police Billy Bolin and Sgt. Jason Cullum.  You can watch history unfold in the Facebook Live video provided below!
