As 2011 comes to a close, it's time to look back on the year that was in world of music. Which of these five songs gets your vote as "KISS-FM Song of the Year"?

Nicki Minaj - Super Bass

2011 was a HUGE year for Nicki as she went from being featured on other artists songs to full-fledged superstar who can more than handle her own in the male-dominated world of hip-hop.

Katy Perry ftg. Kanye West - E.T.

With the release of Teenage Dream, Katy Perry propelled herself to the level of popularity enjoyed by a select few. For "E.T." she took a chance by abandoning her traditional pop sound for a darker, more hip-hop leaning track and it worked. "E.T." could stand to be her biggest single since "I Kissed A Girl".

Pitbull ftg. Ne-Yo - Give Me Everything

After enjoying a solid cult following for years, 2011 found Pitbull finally getting the mainstream success he deserves. A Dr. Pepper endorsement may not have ever happened had it not been for this song featuring a great mix of pop and hip-hop.

Lupe Fiasco - The Show Goes On

Lupe Fiasco enjoyed a top ten hit with "Superstar" back in 2007 and remained relatively silent until the release of Lasers earlier this year. Borrowing beats from both "Float On" by Modest Mouse and "Right Above It" by Lil' Wayne and Drake, "The Show Goes On" marked a solid return to the music scene by the Chicago-born artist.

LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem

Steering away from songs that deal with relationships, life on the streets, and in some cases, politics, LMFAO proved that you can enjoy great success without taking yourself too seriously. By laying catchy dance beats under tongue-in-cheek lyrics, LMFAO tapped into everyone's desire to let loose and party with a song that is nothing more than what the title says.
