Vanderburgh County Solid Waste District Hosting Recycling Day Saturday

The Vanderburgh County Solid Waste District will host their next Recycling Day this Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until Noon at North High School on Highway 41 North.

The District has been periodically hosting Recycling Days since earlier this year, with more days scheduled through December.

Residents are welcome to bring any of the following items be recycled:

• Aluminum cans
• Cardboard
• Junk Mail
• Catalogs/magazines
• Metal food cans
• Newspaper
• Glass containers
• #1-#7 plastic containers

The following items will not be accepted:

• Styrofoam
• Plastic bags

Organizers ask that all items be cleaned and sorted before being dropped off.
