They say duct tape fixes everything, but can it also remove dead skin after a sunburn? There's only one way to find out — cue the life hack test!

Recently, my family and I spent a week in St. Augustine, Florida for summer vacation, and like most trips to the beach, no matter how religiously I think I'm applying sunscreen, I somehow manage to get burnt somewhere on my body. This of course leads to inevitable peeling of dead skin as the burn starts to heal.

While sitting in my office earlier this week picking at the skin falling off my arms, a co-worker stopped by and suggested I give duct tape a try. Her claim was the skin will stick to the tape instead of falling all over my desk and the floor, and I'll be able to get more off in one fell swoop. Here's what happened when I gave it a shot.
