Auditions for the 14th season of American Idol is well underway with some hopefuls being sent back home, while others, including two with ties to the Tri-State area getting that magical ticket to Hollywood.
Rayvon Owen's audition took place in San Francisco, but anyone who is a fan of the shows at Holiday World and Splashin' Safari may recognize Owen as one of the performers the theme park employees. If you didn't see it on the show when it happened, here's Owen's audition where he wows the judges with his own rendition of Katy Perry's "Wide Awake".
Tion Phillips is a Madisonville, Kentucky native who made the long trip to New York City for the opportunity to make his dream come true. Here's his version of Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man".
As you can see (and hear), both men have incredibly gifted voices, and hopefully we'll have the opportunity to see them advance past Hollywood and into the round of Live Shows when they get underway.
