Tri-State Under Flood Warning and Watch This Morning
It is POURING outside! I drove into work from around 4:35 - 5:00 this morning (Thursday November 1st, 2018) and I can tell you my experience was very rough. PLEASE be cautious this morning. This morning on The Rob's Radio Show With Maddie West, we spoke to WEHT/Eyewitness News Meteorologist Ron Rhodes who told us the following about today's severe weather:
"It's coming down pretty good, it is a miserable day! We've already had about an inch of rain, we're going to see basically another inch on top of this. We do have a FLOOD WARNING out for parts of western Kentucky; A FLOOD WATCH out for MOST OF THE TRI-STATE. One of the things that makes it kind of TOUGH TO DRIVE on a morning like today... The fact that it's leaf-falling season, we have a lot of leaves that have fallen and clogged up a lot of storm drains, we're going to have a lot more PONDING OF WATER than we normally would see."
