We have all been asked the question, what do you want to do after high school?

It's a question that seems to stick with every generation. We are constantly asked when we are juniors in high school, "what are your plans after high school?" For most 17 year old students, including myself at that age, the answer was "I have no idea." It seems the pressure is only getting worse because now we see so many students faced with making that decision earlier than their junior year.

It can be so overwhelming. I remember this very well! You don't want to make the wrong decision. You don't want to go somewhere without your friends (whether it be trade school, college, military). You don't want to disappoint your parents, or cost them too much money if they are helping foot the bill. There are so many factors in those "next steps" after high school.

There are so many choices on what to do. However, being one for reports/data, I find having physical reports to guide me in the right direction, might help an aspiring college student as well! Of course, attending higher education takes more than just grades. Prospective students have to think about finances, location, what field they want to study, and the list goes on! According to Wallet Hub, students are looking at spending $21,000 to $47,000 per year on a four year degree. In my experience when I took a prospective school to my parents to show them where I wanted to check out, they went straight to the cost. If they knew I really wanted to attend, they wanted to know what I would be getting out of it for it to cost such a pretty penny.

Thankfully, with the help of Wallet Hub, here is a list of the best schools in Indiana for 2019!
