
Sizzling Time-Lapse of the Sun Will Heat Up Your Day
With winter pounding frigid temperatures down on most of the country, it may seem like the sun will never beam down and warm us up again, but this is a good reminder that it most certainly will.
NASA recently released a very cool time-lapse video of the sun made up of photos taken every eight hours over a five-year period. The shots, collected between June 2010 and February 8 of this year, are the latest example of some of the neat things NASA is doing.
A NASA spokesman said the various colors emerge due to different temperatures.
