Starbucks Offering Pumpkin Spice Lattes in August

Is it just me or it is TOO early to be talking about Pumpkin ANYTHING? Starbucks apparently doesn't think so. Starting on the 27th they are kicking off the pumpkin season by bringing back the Pumpkin Spice Lattes! If you don't know what I mean by 'Pumpkin Season', it's that time of the year when almost EVERYTHING edible or drinkable gets infused with pumpkin flavor of some kind!

Every year businesses try to get the jump on the Holiday promotions over their competitors and in effect, holiday seasons tend to start earlier and earlier. I remember the first time I ever heard of a 'Christmas in July' sale trying to get parent to start lay-a-way plans for Christmas gifts. Which is not a bad idea in itself but can I at least make it past Thanksgiving first?

Also in the Starbucks early Fall lineup will be the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Pumpkin Scones, Pumpkin Spice Madeleines, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin and a Cat Cake Pop in September!
