Should We Move Fall Fest Back a Month [POLL]

Last week on The Rob's Radio Show With Maddie West, Maddie and were talking to WEHT/Eyewitness News Meteorologist Ron Rhodes about how blazing hot the temperatures were going to be ALL WEEK during the 97th Annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival.  And they were, it was way too hot all last to be celebrating anything "fall" when it felt way too much like summer.

And that seems to be a trend here lately.  I've been to thirteen Fall Festivals here in Evansville, and it seems very rare that the temperatures are ever fall-like.  So, I proposed the idea of potentially moving the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival back one month to the MIDDLE of fall in the first week of November.  I knew it would be unpopular because the tradition of the Fest being the first full week of October is deeply ingrained in the community...  Even my very own Maddie West was opposed to the idea!

I put the debate on our Facebook, and this poll actually holds the RECORD for the CLOSEST POLL EVER on KISS 106's Facebook page!  By JUST ONE PERCENT, I was shocked to find out that most respondents actually agreed with me and liked the idea of moving the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival back a month to the first week of November!
