RAGÚ Donates to the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club [PHOTOS]

Mizkan America, on behalf of the RAGÚ pasta sauce brand, is doing something amazing by supporting the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club's Operation Club Cares program, which provides hunger relief for families in need. This will help feed over 350 families each week.

As unemployment grows amid the coronavirus pandemic, more families are in need. Parents are worried about how they'll put food on the table. In an effort to further help those who need it most, Mizkan America announced that they've made a donation to the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club.

“We’re overjoyed to receive this valuable commitment from Mizkan America on behalf of the RAGÚ pasta sauce brand. This will allow us to expand the Operation Club Cares program, enabling us to help 350 families per week,” said Steve Winkler, CEO at the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club. “We welcome this support on behalf of the RAGÚ brand because it will also increase the value of the essential food items included in our bags and give us the ability to extend the timeline of this initiative which benefits needy families in our community.”

Bags with food, personal care items and kids’ games are distributed to members of the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club and their families every Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. until the club reopens. Club members can pick up Operation Club Cares bags at the Buckland Square and Rolling Heights locations in Owensboro and at the Pebble Creek Drive location in Henderson, Ky. The Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club has also partnered with five local Owensboro schools and Rockport Elementary School to impact more families and aid in the distribution of Operation Club Cares bags.
