Q-Fest takes over Downtown Quincy this weekend

Downtown Quincy will be filled this weekend with tons of opportunities to shop, drink, and experience the fine art showcase that is Q-Fest as it returns in full this weekend!

According to the website for Q-Fest, Quincy's fine art showcase takes place this weekend June 24th,25th, and 26th, at Washinton park in downtown Quincy. What exactly is Q-Fest? Well according to their website...

"Q-FEST is an annual community celebration of the visual, musical and culinary arts in Quincy, IL held the fourth weekend in June. The event is held in and around Washington Park in downtown Quincy, and features new and familiar activities including a fine and fresh art festival, street concert and Q-FEST Food Court... The centerpiece of this three-day festival is a juried fine art exhibition and sale, complemented by great entertainment, wonderful food and hands-on art activities for all ages – all in the heart of the The District!"

It will be a busy weekend starting on Friday, June 24th at 5:30 pm with events like Glow in the Dark, the Fine & Fresh Art Show, food court, and of course Blues in the District.

The fun continues all day Saturday, June 25th from 10 am to 5 pm with a food court, kids activities, the art show, live music, and a cultural showcase, then from 7 pm to 11 pm the street gets shut down for the street concert in the downtown, entry is $5 and the band is 90s Daughter.

Q-Fest wraps up on Sunday, June 26th with the food court, art show, kids' activities, music, and the cultural showcase.
